Woodcot Avenue had previously been called Woodlawn Avenue. "That Mrs. Eliza Gray, of Woodlawn Avenue, be informed on behalf of herself and others that this Committee do not see their way to depart from their resolution of 29th July altering the name of Woodlawn Avenue to Woodcot Street".
