“The 5th Earl of Donegal (1757-1799) in 1760 began the construction of a Georgian house overlooking the glen which was named Suffolk House”. Suffolk Court takes its name from Suffolk Road which had taken its name from the house.
The Irish form of the name was approved in April 2023.
