The Committee considered the application of Mr Joseph Taggart for the naming of a new street off Sunningdale Park, and it was moved by Alderman Oliver, seconded by Alderman Henderson and resolved that the new street be named Sarajac Crescent. (Improvement Committee, 23rd August 1949.
