Prince of Wales Avenue

Prince of Wales Avenue
BT4
Ballycloghan / Killeen / Ballymiscaw
Year named:1932

Named in honour of Edward, Prince of Wales (later to become King Edward VIII), who opened Parliament Buildings on 16 November 1932.  This avenue is one mile long from the gates on Newtownards Road to the steps of Parliament Buildings.  It passes through three different townlands.  As it is situated fully within the Stormont Estate and there are no properties which have it as an address, it is not found in some resources such as address/postcode databases.
