The Committee referred a request of the Housing Committee of 18th instant that new street on the Grand Parade site be named Norbloom Gardens to the City Surveyor for report. (IC, 24th January 1950). The City Surveyor recommended that the request of the Housing Committee of 18th ultimo for sanction to name ‘Norbloom Gardens’ for a new street on the Grand Parade Housing Site be granted - approved. (IC, 7th February 1950).
