The minutes of the Improvement Committee of 24 December 1873 indicate the naming of streets off Grosvenor Street for Mr Jas. Ross - Blackwater Street, Linview Street, Little Grosvenor Street, Malt Street, Little Distillery Street. The street name Linview Street is no longer in use, instead there is however Linview Court which was named for its proximity to Linview Street.
