Gracehill Court

Gracehill Court comes from its proximity to a Moravian Church on the Old Park Road, Cliftonville Road Moravian Church. "In 1764, the Moravian Elders of Gloonan, a townland situated between Ballykennedy and Ahoghill, were given permission to borrow a sum of money (ranging from £1000 to £2000) in order to build houses in Ballykennedy. It was decided that the settlement would be called Gracehill, a direct translation of the German Gnadenberg" (Gracehill Court agus na Morávaigh, Gracehill Court and the Moravians Tomás Ó hAodha).
