According to Joe Graham Glenbank House used to belong to the Ewart Family. Around 1920 the house and grounds were presented to Belfast Corporation to become a public park. “Resolved that the name… Glenbank Parade be approved for a new street on the property of Messers Hogg Bros situated off Leroy Street, Crumlin Rd”.
