"Councillor McInnes gave notice that he would move at next meeting that the street at Connswater hitherto known as Bread Street be named Bread Street East. The Surveyor was instructed to communicate with Sinclair and Boyd and the Belfast Ropeworks Co and inform them that the Council are about to alter the name of Bread Street at Connswater to Bread Street East as there is already a street named Bread Street in another district of the City."
