Dromara is a townland, village and parish in Co. Down. Kinallen Court, Dromara Street and Artana Street all appear to have been developed around the same time, in the early years of the 20th century from 1904-1908. The three names would appear to come from neighbouring townlands in County Down though Artana is an unofficial variant spelling of Ardtanagh.
"That on the application of the owner Mr Samuel Herald, three new sheets on his property, situate off Ormeau Road, be named Artana Street, Dromora Street and Kinallen Street". (Improvement Committee, 10th May 1904).
