The city surveyor submitted a memorial from owners of premises in Downview Park South, requesting that the name of that street be changed to Downview Park. Also, an application from Messers James H. Barton and Sons to have the name of that portion of Downview Park which was situated within their property changed to Downview Park West. On the recommendation of the city surveyor, the committee acceded to both applications. (8th September 1959).
