Crescent Gardens forms the east side of a square with Lower Crescent, Upper Crescent and University Road. However, it consists of red brick houses of a later date than the Georgian style buildings of Lower and Upper Crescent.
There is a blue plaque erected by the Ulster History Circle to commemorate writer and broadcaster Sam Hanna Bell (1909-1990) at no. 2, Crescent Gardens.
